Gregga Prothero was born in the Philippines, moved to California at four years old, and has basically been an LA girl ever since. She started "experimenting" (aka bravely hacking away) on friends' hair back in high school and seventeen years later, the scissors are still in her hand.

Hair has always been her thing. Part art project, part obsession and the dream of owning a salon started feeling real once she met her husband.

Together, they mixed their talents—her unstoppable passion for hair, his freakishly good design eye and built Gregga L.A. : a space that's as much about feeling at home as it is about feeling your absolute best.
